Our Culinary Arts & Gastronomy Program is designed to help you develop the practical skills and knowledge needed to start a career in the culinary and hospitality industry.

STUDY THE PROGRAM
SPANISH LANGUAGE COURSE A1 / A2 (200H)
Students begin with a Spanish language course (A1–A2) designed to develop communication skills for everyday life and professional environments in Spain.
Your first step will be a Spanish course to improve your communication skills and open the doors to new job opportunities.
PROFESSIONAL CULINARY CERTIFICATION – (1.110H)
Students complete the official professional certificate:
HOTR0110 – Kitchen Management and Culinary Production
The training includes:
- Professional cooking techniques
- Culinary production and kitchen organization
- Food preparation and gastronomy operations
- Hospitality service and customer experience
- The certification includes 400 hours of internships in restaurants and hotels in Spain.
UNIVERSITY MICROCRENTIALS AT UNIVERSITY – (130H)
Students complete a Micro-Credential in Healthy Gastronomy and Mediterranean Diet, covering:
Mediterranean diet science
Gastronomy culture and innovation
Culinary communication
Healthy cooking practices
PROFESSIONAL CULINARY INTERSHIP
After completing the training period, students gain real professional experience through internships in Spain’s gastronomy and hospitality sector.
Internships may take place in:

PAID INTERNSHIPS
Professional Culinary Internships
As part of the Culinary Arts Program, students have the opportunity to complete real professional internships in restaurants, hotels, and hospitality businesses across Spain.
Internships may take place in 3★, 4★ and 5★ hotels, resorts, and gastronomy establishments located throughout the Iberian Peninsula, including the Canary Islands and the Balearic Islands, allowing students to gain valuable experience in professional kitchen environments.
Internships outside Valencia
Students completing their internships outside the province of Valencia may receive:
- Accommodation provided by the employer
- Full board included (3 meals per day)
- 40-hour work week with 2 days off
- Monthly allowance from €300 as a study scholarship
- Social Security registration, according to internship conditions
During the low season, some internships may also take place in destinations such as the Canary Islands, offering experience in international hospitality environments.
Internships in Valencia
For internships carried out in Valencia:
- Meals are typically provided during working shifts
- Students may receive a minimum allowance from €300/month, depending on the availability of internship placements offered by the company.
