- Format type “private specialization diploma” 1000 hours duration approx.
- The access requirements will be the same as those associated with the 2-year program.
- Private qualification awarded by the Educational Institution.
- May include some hours of Spanish (approximately 200)
- May include university qualification: Micro credentials.
✅ Possibility of working – With a student visa you can work with an employment contract, 30 hours/week.
✅ Stay back option – At the end of your studies with us you can change to a residence permit to start your job search.

CUISINE & GASTRONOMY
Our training programs train you as a Professional inside Cuisine and the Gastronomy sector, being able to reach the category of Medium Technician and different training depending on the training program you choose and your objectives. Our academic offerings are designed to prepare future professionals in the field of Cooking.
Through an educational approach based on practical experience, students face real cases and carry out Paid Internships in leading Restaurants.
This Intermediate FP cycle in Cooking and Gastronomy is specially designed for Future chefs, who aspire to work in a professional kitchen. During this 2-years program Students will learn about the products and raw materials, master the basic preparation techniques and develop creative skills to prepare dishes with a marked character.
This training cycle with paid internships that we offer at ECOTUR is the perfect opportunity for you to gain experience in the field of hospitality, learn about culinary culture while enjoying the best training provided by our school.
The student must have the E.S.O. or a BASIC FP degree, Intermediate Level Access Test, or a Vocational Training degree.

STUDY PROGRAM
2000 hours divided into 2 courses.
DUAL FP: 6 months of in-person training at Hotel Escuela Ecotur and 4 months of paid training internships in collaborating Hotels and Restaurants, both in the first and second year.

- Basic pastry and confectionery processes 224 hours
- Safety and hygiene in food handling 64 hours
- Training and job orientation 96 hours
- Time reserved for the module taught in English 60 hours
- Gastronomic offers 88h
- Culinary products 264h
- Desserts in restoration 198h
- Business and entrepreneurship 66h
- Schedule reserved for the module taught in English 44 hours
- Eco-Lab: Free hours of supervised research.
PAID INTERNSHIPS
You can always do your internships in 3*, 4* and 5* Hotels and in Michelin Star restaurants, throughout Spain and also in the best Resorts on the Iberian Peninsula and the Canary and Balearic Islands.
Internships outside the province of Valencia: Students, during their internship period, have their accommodation and meals (3 meals a day) guaranteed at their destination hotels or restaurants, following a schedule 40 hours a week and with 2 days off per week. The internships will also have a remuneration for the student from the Hotel of 300.00 euros per month as a study scholarship, including registration with Social Security. Outside the summer period, internships can be carried out in the Canary Islands.
- Internships in Valencia or the province in Michelin Star Restaurants, restaurants and gastrobars, the student will have subsistence included during the work shift as well as a minimum remuneration of €300/month * *It will depend on the availability of scholarship places in that moment by the company.
- On behalf of Ecotur, we advise the student on the best choice and always giving priority to their preferences, correctly analyzing their academic and personal profile to guarantee the best professional path.
- We also offer the option of carrying out internships in community companies or other categories: Catering, Schools, hospitals, residences, workshops, etc.

Answer:
- Yes, you can work up to a maximum of 30 hours as long as it does not affect the school schedule.
How long?
- During the entire period that your studies last or you are enrolled in any training in Spain
Is there any stay back option?
Answer:
- Yes, as long as you are enrolled in higher education, these include: Professional certificates, training cycles and university degrees.
How long?
- The period is one year with the possibility of renewing and extending.
What documents are necessary?
Answer:
- 1. National visa application form
- 2. Photography. A recent passport-sized color photograph
- 3. Valid and current passport. Original and photocopy.
- 4. Proof of acceptance of the study, training or internship
- 5. Test of financial means.
- 6. Health insurance
- 7. Criminal Record Check Certificate
- 8. Medical certificate
- 9. Proof of residence in the consular district
- 10. Proof of the identity and capacity of the representative (minors)
- 11. Authorization of legal representatives (minors)
- 12. Payment of visa fee.

Can i change my Visa status?
Answer:
- Yes, you can. There are some countries that allow it, however, we advise you to apply for the visa from your country of origin to avoid surprises. You can consult us, we will advise you during the visa process.

- During the entire period that your studies last or you are enrolled in any training in Spain.
